My Husband Takes 6 Mg Hydromorphine 2x Daily. He Has

My husband takes 6 mg hydromorphine 2x daily. He has fallen down cracked rib on left side. Has an extreme congestion with super thick mucus which he can barely spit up and out accompanied with a fever. He also takes blood pressure pills as he suffered from a double stroke 2 yrs plus. He wants to take some nyquil. What should be done. Forgot he took 2 500 mg ibuprofen for swelling.
