My Husband Takes Losartan H 100/25 Mg For High Blood

My husband takes Losartan h 100/25 mg for High blood pressure. He has had a triple bypass about 4 years ago and aldo on Sotalol. We had a problem with his Part D plan for his prescriptions when enrolling in Medicare. He will not be able to be covered for his rx's until Feb. 1. I take Gemfibrozil for blood pressure. Would he be able to take this instead for a month until we can get his presc. insurance started??
