My Husband Takes Xanax Every Night For Sleeplessness, He Now

My husband takes Xanax every night for sleeplessness, he now has an infected tooth - taking antibiotics and hydrocodon for pain. He will take hydrocodon when going to bed. Is it safe for him to take both Xanax and hydrocodon at bedtime. He has a high tolerance for prescription drugs and even Xanax doesn't help him sleep but 4 hrs.
