My Husband Takes Metoprolol Tartrate, Coumadin, And Several Other Medicines

My husband takes metoprolol tartrate, Coumadin, and several other medicines for heart related problems. He also takes Torsemide for water retention. He ran out of the torsemide and has been retaining water to the point his feet are swollen so bad he is unable to wear his slippers, and he has pressure on his chest. We have put in for a renewal of the prescription, but it will take a few days. He has a doctors appointment on this Friday, 25. but in the mean time, would a substitute of Hydrochlorot cap. 12.5 be ok with his other meds?
