My Husband Uses Voltaren And I Know There Is Diclofenic

My husband uses Voltaren and I know there is diclofenic in it because I always read ingredients, because my stomach is so sensitive to so many meds. One time a Dr. gave me a made up cream and it was loaded with diclofenic. Now I am terrified about my husb. using voltaren. He just a a triple bypass May/2015. He started using voltaren because he doesn't like taking pills. We thought we were safe with Voltaren. Could u please advise us what would be ok for him to use...........
