My Husband Was Diagnosed With Stage 1 Rectal Cancer 13

My husband was diagnosed with stage 1 rectal cancer 13 years ago and has remained cancer free. My question is: he recently had an elevate alk phos of 125 & an us showed a fatty liver, his primary care dr stated that he lose wt and take vitamins but do you think he should have also ordered additional testing to make sure not related to bone involvement?
