My Husband Was Prescribed Levofloxacin 750mg 1 Daily X Five

My husband was prescribed Levofloxacin 750mg 1 daily x five days for pneumonia. He will take the fifth (and last) dose tomorrow. He is only 4 months post surgical repair of a massive rotator cuff surgery, and will be resuming his Physical Therapy as soon as he has recovered from his current illness. I am very concerned about Tendon ruptures. How long does the medication remain in the body after finishing the 5 day course of treatment? And, therefor, when would it be safe to resume the PT?
