My Husband Was Recently Diagnosed With Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis. He

My husband was recently diagnosed with Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis. He has been sick for some time. He also has a retro peritoneal fibrosis supposedly the result of a generalized auto immune disorder. (They are not able to identify what auto immune disorder it is. Are the pulmonary fibrosis and the retro peritenal fibrosis the result of the same thing?
