My Husband Was Recently Diagnosed With Low White Blood Count,

My husband was recently diagnosed with low white blood count, (200), peripheral neuropathy, cold hands and feet, anemia. We suspect a vitamin B12 absorption problem but his blood serum has been normal to high. How can we get the doctors to run the right tests to determine if he needs b12 injections.
