My Husband Went In For Angioplasty For Stents Thought He

My husband went in for angioplasty for stents thought he had one blockage when they did the test turned out 2 90% blockages in the back of heart and front. Also many small blockages in arteries. He is diabetic and Dr gave us choices bypass of stents. I feel he is safer doing stents because of diabetis. Dr said heart is functioning ok now no damage to heart or any heart attack. Only symptom he has is shortness of breath in exertion and alittle tired, he is 71 yrs old. What is the best way to go. He is still working and looks and feels very young.
