My Husband, Who Has Alzheimers, Starting Talking Funny And I

My husband, who has alzheimers, starting talking funny and I just caught him chewing on a pebble. He does not understand the question when I ask if he has a tooth ache so I looked into his mouth and on the roof of his mouth is a what I describe as a "cluster" of four bumps. They are 3 dimensional (in other words, does not look anything lie a canqur sore).
