My Husband, Who Is 62 Just Was Released From The

My husband, who is 62 just was released from the hospital 9 days ago and diagnosed with Heart Failure with 20% heart function, and is in a-fib. he wearing a portable fibulation device (Life Vest) and has to for 3 monhs because of he insurance before the Cardiologist can possibly insert an in-body de-fib device permanently. He has been okayed to go back to work in a week. He has lost 42 lbs since 1/3 most of which was probably from swelling, we are on strict low sodium diet and low fluid intake. This came on very quickly (since October). I am concerned about the long term prognosis, but don't want to ask the Cardiologist in front of him.
