My Husband Will Be 80 In A Month, Very Healthy.

My husband will be 80 in a month, very healthy. He developed a rash that we thought was an allergic reaction to sulfa about 2 months ago. He was given medrol dose pan, didn't make it go away. A NP at a Dermatologists office said, not allergic. Exema. Gave us 3 creams. Nothing worked. 3 weeks of Prednisone and it went away. Finished the pred. on Friday. Rash gone. But Saturday he got terribly sick.
went to er. They admitted him with Pneumococcal Pneumonia. IV antibiotics given 3 times. Today rash is coming back. It's all over his body and it itches. What's up with this? Help. They make let him come home tomorrow.
He also takes 30 mg paroxitine daily.
