My Husband Will Eat And Within The Hour He Has

My husband will eat and within the hour he has a bowel movement. I worry he isn't getting the nutrients he should. He has high blood pressure that is under control with medication, he also had a colonoscopy last September where they removed some pylops but everything else was fine. Should I be worried about this? He also has hydro-cephally {not sure if I spelled it right} had surgery and they put in a pump which pumps the fluid to his stomach.
