My Husband's AFib Was Shocked Into Rhythm A Week Ago

My husband's AFib was shocked into rhythm a week ago Friday, he has a Cardiologist appt next Friday, two weeks, we have been tracking his blood pressure which was very good the first few days, it is now 186/98, I expect he is back in AFib. On a holiday weekend one cannot reach the Drs office, I googled blood pressure and saw that 180/90 was a reason to go to the emergency room. He has had no symptoms from the beginning but does have a very small clot in his heart. He is feeling fine and did a good hour at the Y today. Please advise
