My Husband's Blood Gases Are In The High 50's. They

My husband's blood gases are in the high 50's. They have been that way since he took sick 4 years ago. I understand the the normal range is between 30-40. however THE DOCTORS [SEVERAL PULMONOLOGITS] HAVE TOLD ME THAT HIS NUMBERS ARE HIGH NORMAL FOR HIM. iS THIS CORRECT?
