My Insurance Refuses To Pay For My Prescription For Lexapro,
My insurance refuses to pay for my prescription for Lexapro, even though they've paid for it for the past 6 or more years. Instead they are forcing me to get the generic Escitalopram. (Hmmm. I don't recall seeing any MD after their name.) I've tried other anti-depression meds. before Lexapro with unfavorable results. I am clinically depressed due to the residuals from a brain tumor, & the 2 surgeries to remove it, that destroyed my pituitary gland. The generic has been on the market for a few years now, and I hope, that after reading the consumers' very negative response of this question posted here, that it has been redesigned because of it's side effects. I suffered many years of headaches/migraines from the tumor and it's growth. I do not want to relive that. So, anything new/improved on the generic Escitalopram?
