My Internist Dr Prescribed Mirtazapine 15 Mg Last Month. A

My internist dr prescribed Mirtazapine 15 mg last month. A week ago my pain management dr. prescribed Amitriptyline last week for nerve pain. I've read about both on this site and it appears they are both antidepressants. I asked her should I take both and she said yes...at night because they will make me sleepy. I'm a bit concerned and confused.
Sorry I didn't know this required a subscription. I'll just wait and go over this again with my physician, if I don't overdose first. Afraid of being over medicated. I've never in my life had medical issues, never taken prescriptions literally 15 yrs not even an aspirin until this accident.
