My Knees Sounds Like Grating Crushing Glass With All Movements.

My knees sounds like grating crushing glass with all movements. I have had ortho on one knee and and the grating is back but much worse. They are painful and swollen and cold /damp weather seems to inflame them even worse with the stiffness. They are sore and painful at most almost all the time.
