My last CBC had all normal results with the exceptions of MCHC or 29.4, 2 Immature Granulocytes and 0.2 Absolute Immature Granulocytes.
I am a 68 year old transgender M>F who completed surgery and transition more than 10 years ago. I am a diabetic using Lantus and Novalog. I take metoprolol for tachycardia and and altace for bp. I also take oxybutynin to help control sweating, fenofibrate for lipids, glimipiride for diabetes and Delestrogen 1.25cc every 10 days. My A1c is 7.6. Vitamin D is and always has been low and I am not taking 50000 units twice a week.
Years ago when I took hematology, we would find an occasional eosinophil or basophil while doing a differential and unless there was a bunch of red or blue "balloons" in the wright stain we were told to basically ignore them. My doctor has me going for a cbc w differential to visit this report, and I am wondering if I need to be concerned of if this is a potential problem. At my age I expect to have problems, but this one seems to have come out of the blue. Thank you for your time.
