My Latest Lab Test Reveals My Serum Iron Is 19.

My latest lab test reveals my serum iron is 19. My ferritin is 9. I have arthritis. I am a 53 yr old female. I am going to rheumatologist in 4 was. I have recently developed a butterfly rash on my face and I feel very fatigued and weak. My joints hurt badly. I have had a triple arthrodesis bilaterally on ankles in 1996. Lots of pain in feet. I take 325/10 of hydrocodone px per pain management for foot and joint pain. I take 1 tab q6 hrs for pain. No other meds except an occasional Asa. I was on Enbrel but stopped in June of this year due to not getting any relief. My question is could hydrocodone be causing my iron defiency? I have been getting venofer 300 mg iv infusion every 5-6 mos.
