My Left Ear Lobe Starting Spontaneously Bleeding This Afternoon. I

My left ear lobe starting spontaneously bleeding this afternoon. I wasn't playing with it, there wasn't any pain, discomfort, nor any other indication that something was wrong. It took me several minutes to stop it. It sight of the bleeding was the former sight of piercing but it's been around 5 years since I took them out.
