My Left Ear Sounds Really Muffled, Imagine Having A Ear

My left ear sounds really muffled, imagine having a ear plug in one ear, I can hear out of it, and it doesn't hurt, just when I talk it echos and when I listen to something as I said before it sounds muffled, could it be a part of and ear infection am I going def, what could it be
