My Left Ear Started Ringing Today Out Of Nowhere, And

My left ear started ringing today out of nowhere, and there is no pain. It's extremely annoying. I do not have tubes in my ears, I have not been swimming or submerged in water, I do not have previous issues with ringing in my ears and I work in an office. At a complete loss here. Any ideas?
