My Left Eye Had A Small Round Drop That Looked

My left eye had a small round drop that looked like blood on the white of my eye.. I went to the school nurse and blood pressure, heart rate, etc was good..Called my eye dr., He said it was a broken blood vessel. He said it could be caused by lifting..told me not to lift, do anything strenuous, keep blood pressure in check, min. stress for a week and it should heal on it's on. Our school nurse said the spot was larger when I went home. (a.m. she measured 4.5 and at 4:00 p.m. it measured 7.) Should I be concerned. I do know that my recent blood work showed elevated blood sugar levels...
