My Left Foot & Ankle Swells Daily & It Affects

My left foot & ankle swells daily & it affects my second toe next to big toe & while it doesn't hurt terribly, it feels odd like the nerve might be affected. I doubt that it is serious but it is a daily complaint & I don't know what could be causing it. I've tried using an ice bag & while it may help some, it is only temporary..
