My Left Knee Was Swollen Pretty Bad For About 4

My left knee was swollen pretty bad for about 4 days. I treated with pain reliever, Ulthram, ice packs and resting the leg. the swelling went away. Since Friday, I will be in stride and the knee will slip out. I have been blessed that I have always been close to something to grab onto or I would have crashed to the floor. Sunday is almost gone and the knee brace is not working, either. Will this eventually heal with brace and arthriCream?
