My Left Left Leg And Foot Are Extremely Swollen With

My left left leg and foot are extremely swollen with tingle. My right is swollen also but not as bad as my left. I have been getting silicone injections in my left knee, but I don't think it would cause both legs to swell. I am diabetic, controlled with oral medication. I have had an sonogram on my heart this year and everything checked out ok. Last night I was having muscle craps in my hands. I do take a potassium supplement. Could my potassium be low? I just had blood work done a week ago and my A1C dropped from 6.6 to 6.3.
