My Liver Enzymes Are Higher Than Normal. I Have Had

My liver enzymes are higher than normal. I have had an ultrasound. I was told my liver is smaller than normal as are the blood vessels. The doctor is doing more blood work. What questions should I be asking? What could be some of the causes for this?
