My liver enzymes went up march 2015 accompanied by itching, dark urine/bilirubin and jaundice. We didn't know the cause, although I had been on a 5000mg a day of methyl b-12 for a year. I stopped the b12. 6 months later I had a much worse incident of elevated enzymes and jaundice, etc. Seemingly triggered by an antibiotic. My enzymes continue downward with a slight elevation in december. still not normal 8 months after the 2nd incident. Is it possible the methyl b12 was related? I was drinking red wine almost nightly at the time, but stopped the wine after the September 2015 incident.
