My Lower Inside Left Shin Pinches When I Press Down

My lower inside left shin pinches when I press down on it. I believe something happened 3 weeks ago playing soccer and since the pinching which was painfull when I touched the area is less but I feel a small pouch in the area. There isn't anything visible on the surface and it doesn't inhibit any movements. Thought it was a bone bruise and never bothers me so I never had it checked out. Starting a new season in a couple months and definitely don't want to go in with an injury.
