My Lower Lip, On The Left Side Only Has Begun

My lower lip, on the left side only has begun to pulsate or twitch rapidly on occasion. This usually happens when I am having a cigarette, whether it's a regular one or an ecig. I am becoming concerned. Is this a potential cancer of the lip/mouth symptom?
