My Menstrual Cycle Was Late 3days. I Am Now Experiencing

My menstrual cycle was late 3days. I am now experiencing dark brown discharge with pink coloration when i wipe. My period symptoms were very different this time, but i have also been under some negative stress as well. What would this mean for my menstruation? Yes we have been trying to conceive.
