My Menstrual Period Is Kind Of Irregular. During My Last

My menstrual period is kind of irregular. During my last period, it was delayed as usual. I had used sanitary napkins though I didn't have the period yet. I used sanitary pads without menstruation for almost 2 weeks until my period came. My problem is I had my vulva very itchy and kind of sore. It's so painful especially when its wet. What do I do? Do I use a cream for this? If yes, what particular cream? Please help. Thanks in advance.
