My Mom 82 Has Extreme Dizziness With Swollen Lips And
My mom 82 has extreme dizziness with swollen lips and bad headache. Blood pressure running a bit high 159/66. History of Stroke 15 plus years ago and a few TIAs . Last one in December 2015. She said she had some candy from a friend that when lips got swollen around 3 to 4 hour ago, so I was thinking making an allergic reaction. Took only one benydryl but no chance. No Shortness of breath or chest pain.
She is 100% blocked carotid artery on one side. She is reluctant to go to ER.. but feels terrible. Over this past weekend, also had severe headache that lasted 2.5 days. and Rosacea flair and had lots of trouble sleeping with severe indigestion. Felt much better yesterday and today until this happened at about 5 or 6 pm. Does this sound vascular in nature/ Should I get her to ER?
