My Mom Had An AAA Which Was Fixed Some Time

My mom had an AAA which was fixed some time before she died and then older sister dies from acute abdomen pneumoperitoneum perforated viscus hypotension. Are these 2 related, hereditary? I have been experiencing stomach problems and was wondering. Thank you.
