My Mom Has Been In Facilities For Three Months With

My mom has been in facilities for three months with her insulin monitored by staff. She was receiving both long and short acting based on sliding scale. We brought her home today and her current Rx is Levemir, 45-72 units daily as per insulin protocol. Prior to facility admissions, she was administering 40 units at bedtime. Without guidance from her PCP available this weekend, would you recommend a static dose of 40 units? I feel she received much less in hospital. Many thanks.
