My Mom Has Gone Through 4 Sessions Of Chemo (Xelox)
My mom has gone through 4 sessions of chemo (Xelox) for her caecal ca. However CT scan shows
1) Reducing size and number of lung, mediastinal and liver metastasis.
2) ill-defined diffuse liver lesion may be suggestive to multifocal fatty infiltration due to chemo. However, metastasis may also show similar appearance.
3) New multiseptated cystic lesion in the pelvic region, most likely left ovary in origin. Primary malignancy or metastasis cannot be ruled out.
I am confused over the result, does the drug work or not? why there is a mixed result.
