My Mom Has Received A Call That Her Hemoglobin Is

My mom has received a call that her hemoglobin is 6.9 she had 2 bags of blood given to her 4 weeks ago, she wants to wait till tomorrow to go to the hospital, is it safe for her to stay home this evening ? There was blood in her bowel movement tonight. She is 71yrs old.
