My Mom Is 84 And Bedridden. REcently, She Has Had

My mom is 84 and bedridden. REcently, she has had periods of confusion, where she almost seems like she's having hallucinations. These spells have all occurred at night. She says she is missing some pills, or feels exceptionally cold, or becomes distraught and can't be calmed down. We don't see these behaviors during the day. What do you think?
