My Mom Is 85 And Has Mild COPD And Coughed
My mom is 85 and has mild COPD and coughed up a blot of blood.
She has been inhaling the symbicort turbohaler. The x Ray at emerg showed the doctor nothing on the lungs to worry about. He said if bleeding starts again, to bring her back to emerg.
Today there was no blood and tonight she took another dose of her turbohaler.
The doctor prescribed it many months ago as an anti-inflammatory.
I know she irritates her inner throat lining by making a tiger screech sound for long periods of time and he doctor agrees that this could have damages the thin mucous membrane (not sure of this is the terminology).
