My Mom Is 87 Years Old She Quit Taking Diltalizem

My mom is 87 years old she Quit taking Diltalizem cold turkey after her Doctor said it was OK. With in a few days she broke out in a rash like scabbies. was treated for scabbies. but still has the rash on her legs and feet. which are swollen still! does this sound right!
