My Mom Is 91, Has Stage 4 Kidney Disease, Chronic

My mom is 91, has stage 4 kidney disease, chronic UTI's. She has an e. coli bladder infection now.She has been on antibiotics for most of the past 3 years. She started having UTI's in her 30's.

She is resistant to most antibiotics or there are some she can't use due to chronic kidney disease. The Dr. at the nursing home has suggested Augmentin for treatment. I am concerned this antibiotic will make her really sick.
