My Moms My Mom Is 84 Taking Narcotic Pain Medication

My moms my mom is 84 taking narcotic pain medication for nerve damage due to bad hip replacements and knee replacement as well as potassium pills and daily drinking boost. She began having personality disorders being agitated, confrontational and threatening to harm herself and others around her. Just plain mean and evil. Her dr prescribed risperdal but clearly everything I read says it should not be used for symptoms of dimentia or taken with narcotic pain meds and could increase death in elderly. What should I do?
