My Morher Inlaw Stupidly Applied Regular Vicks Onto The Outter

My morher inlaw stupidly applied regular vicks onto the outter nostrils of my 6mo old baby without asking me. I only found out because i smelled the vicks and noticed one of my babies eyes was red and slightly puffy. We wiped off her face, neck and hands with baby wipes then washed her face thoroughly with mild soap and water. The redness has has subsided for the most part. But im still worried. Should i be concerned or will she be fine?
