My Mother Dried Her Ear With A Q-tip (not The

My mother dried her ear with a q-tip (not the cana itself) and when she withdrew it almost all her hearing left. I have had her to 3 ENTs only to be told she has age-related nerve damage. I don't think that could happen suddenly. That was a year ago and now she is all but deaf. She can hear but can't make out what is being said. She also has gotten tinnitus really bad. The roaring in her ears is terrible when she wakes up. She also hears a motor running and night sounds. She looks as if she is exhausted from the stress and anxiety of the noises.
She also presented with a rash on her legs and now it is coming out on her arms, neck and face. I have had her to the dermatologist several times. Dr. said it is psorisis but a 2nd opinion said it was eczema. There is a seperate skin issue on her hands that her PCP said one hand looks like an allergy and the other looks like a chemical reaction. Both the ENT and dermotologist had tests run for autoimmune diseases and the dermatologist did a biopsy on 1 of her hands. Everything is normal.
She also has been going to a gastroenterologist for 4 years because she will go through spells of having nausea really bad on a daily basis. She doesnt throw up and can even still eat but is nauseated to the point of taking phenergan. This will go on for about a month or more and leave as suddenly as it comes on.
In addition to all that, she has lost almost all taste and smell. I am worried that she has an underlying condition that no one is finding. She is 79 and has a strong heart and lungs, fantastic blood pressure and normal cholesterol. She was perfectly healthy and then all these things started happening none of which have a diagnosis or one that makes sense. She also has taken to having dreams and walking in her sleep which resulted in a bad fall. I have a baby monitor in her room now. She deals with extreme anxiety, too.
Can you please help her? Sometimes I think the docs look at her age and dont try to really find out whats wrong or they just treat the symptoms with pills which she hates to take. She is on an antidepressant now in addition to xanax and pepcid. Thank you for any help you can give.
