My Mother Has A History Of Cancer. But, As Of

My mother has a history of cancer. But, as of now, she has cellulitus in her legs and suffers terribly when and swollen. She is going through menapause but she has bulkin uterus with cyts on both ovaries and has fibroids. She has to have a operation ASAP. why is this? Is it serious? What does it mean? Does she have cancer again?
