My Mother Has An Elevated ESR Of 125, CBC Is

My mother has an elevated ESR of 125, CBC is normal..Her CT scan shows skull base cellutitis and it is fungal.. We thought it is bacterial initially but later came to know its fungal..Now she is getting treatment from homeopathy ..She is in her 55 and is a known case of DM. What does the normal CBC but elevated ESR mean?
