My Mother Has Been Told That She Has High Liver

My mother has been told that she has high liver enzymes by her doctor and been advised to stop drinking. However she is still consuming 2 litres of white wine every evening. What would be the outcome of this if she doesn't stop, how long could it take for her to end up dead.
