My Mother Has Extreme Arthritis In Her Knees And Hips.

My mother has extreme arthritis in her knees and hips. She is recently complaining of tightness in the back of her legs and calves. She is not using the word 'pain' she is saying it numb and tight. Its only when she walks. When she is sitting it is OK. Please help...
